Hi gang!

I was so excited to meet up with Chan and Edgar at Kualoa Regional Park for a stunning – and terribly sweet – maternity, and surprise proposal session. At the time, Chan was a few weeks away from giving birth, so you can only imagine how she was feeling while we were roaming around finding the best spots to shoot! She was a trooper, though, let me tell you. Her skin looked amazing, her hair was perfection, and her dresses were on point.

A few days before our session, Edgar reached out to me to see if I’d be able to help him plan a surprise proposal to Chan. (The answer to this is always yes, by the way). Then we came up with the idea of how it was going to all go down: We would start with the maternity session, pictures of the two of them and Chan alone. Then, in the middle of the session, once we moved to the beach ( Edgar wanted to propose at the beach), I asked Chan to turn around for some pictures of her facing the left side of the ocean. Edgar quickly grabbed the ring and kneel down behind her. When I asked her to look the other way, Edgar popped the question!!
Chan was completely surprised, couldn’t stop crying happy tears and shouted YES!

Edgar did such a good job of orchestrating this whole thing and keeping it a secret from Chan, which made for one of the most genuine and sweetest proposals! Not to mention the ring is absolutely GORGEOUS!!

They’re going to be an amazing Mom and Dad duo, and their little bundle of joy is so lucky to be brought into the world with them. Thanks again and congrats, you two!
